About the Run
An international initiative that Kazakhstanis and the “Angels of Freedom” charity foundation support for the third year in a row.
The idea of the run is that amateur runners and professional athletes, dressed in T-shirts with a print of Ukrainian embroidery or Ukrainian embroidered shirts (Vyshyvanka), run a distance of 1 km/3 km/5 km/10 km.

What will the funds from the 2024 Kazakh Vyshyvanka Run be used for?
The goal of this yearʼs run is to raise funds for the renovation of a shelter and purchasing furniture for a kindergarten in the city of Chernihiv, which serves 240 children. The kindergarten has 11 groups, including:
3 nursery groups;
2 speech therapy groups;
6 general development preschool groups.
To ensure the children can stay comfortably in the shelter, ventilation needs to be installed, cosmetic repairs need to be made, and new furniture needs to be purchased, such as chairs, trapezoid tables, and three-tier children’s beds for the nursery group.

Please inform the organizers about this. After the race, send your results — time and distance — to us at info@angelsoffreedom.kz in a format that is convenient for you (for example, this could be a screenshot from another application).
If our participation packages or distances do not suit you, you can still run any distance in vyshyvanka, publish a photo or video on your social media accounts, tagging the Angels of Freedom and #VyshyvankaRunKZ, thus supporting the Run. In this case, you cannot compete for prizes.
Yes. Please note that if you purchase a package with a medal and/or t-shirt, we will send them to you by mail at your expense. Also, considering the distance, we cannot guarantee delivery of the t-shirt by the Run date.
